Bell Cosmetics launches at Beauty Crowd

Beauty Crowd is a fabulous website that really excites me, it launched earlier this year and contains many brands that I would love to try out. They also stock many brands and products that aren't as accessible to us in the UK like Milani, LA girl, Jordana and more. Being someone who watches lots YouTube videos and lots of them being Americans I'm always so jealous of the items that we can't get so this is super exciting. A brand I would love to see over here more than anything is ColourPop cosmetics as their makeup quality and products look phenomenal.

I was honoured that Beauty Crowd allowed me to share with you one of their latest launches in Bell Cosmetics*. They are a UK based Polish cosmetics company with 30 years experience in the beauty industry, their range is hypoallergenic which means they have been vigorously tested and your less likely to get a reaction off these type of products. This doesn't mean you won't have a reaction but people with sensitive skin should always opt for hypoallergenic to be more careful with their precious skin. Ideally makeup should always be tested on a small area of the skin before applying to the whole face just to make sure a reaction isn't going to occur. Bell cosmetics is a hypoallergenic range without a high price tag, so all that expensive extra testing isn't past on through their prices to us. Prices range from £3.50 to £8.95 on www.beautycrowd.com

My favourite items that I was sent were the Thickening Mascara (£4.95) and Matte & Smooth makeup base (£7.95). The mascara really quickly added volume and length, definitely giving a thickening look to my lashes as the name would suggest with a simple but effective wand.

The makeup base/primer is massive in size being 1.1oz all for £7.95 and completely comparable to higher end brands I have tried. It smoothed out my complexion with its milky pink formula, and being mattifying helped to add durability to my makeup. Having oily skin I have found a primer essential to help create a better base for my makeup to last on.

As you can see from the above picture the makeup that was in my pack was too dark for me in the shade 02, I'm always the lightest shades in makeup from any brand I have tried so far with my pale skin. The primer is in the centre of the above photo with the concealer on the left and foundation on the right.

The liquid eye concealer (£3.95) is super affordable and perfect for anyone who doesn't want a heavy coverage. It doesn't contain fragrances which is perfect for people with sensitive skin and given the right shade this would help to lighten and brighten that under eye area we all seem to struggle with. As you can see the 02 shade is more yellow toned aswell as being too dark for me, I'm pale and pink toned all the way. :)

The Matte & Soft makeup (£7.95) fluid foundation is a lovely light texture and is oil-free, helping to keep a natural look to the skin without clogging those pores. The finish of this foundation appears slightly powdered when set due to it being aimed to be matte on the skin, perfect for oily skin who wants a lighter coverage.

Another item that was sent was the Matte powder (£4.95) this was also shade 02 but did come up a slightly lighter shade on the skin than the concealer and foundation.

I do love the embossing look on the powder but would have been nice to have a better design rather than pressing on the hypoallergenic factor which covers the packaging already. I think this product is better applied to the face with a brush than a sponge applicator method as can look too powdery on the skin if not careful but brill for taking shine off the face.

Check out all the other great products available on Beauty Crowd, but be careful I don't think your bank will like you when you see how many amazing items they have. I love the look of all the Milani products, especially the pretty blushes and matte lipsticks.
