Timeless Truth Masks

I'm a massive fan of face masks, I love to feel and see a difference in my skin! Timeless Truth beauty facial masks are 'the ultimate in mask experience.' I have previously used the Bio Cellulose Bee Venom mask which was featured in my July Empties blogpost. The bee venom was part of their luxury masks collection, which have other incredible ingredients. Timeless Truth have two different face mask ranges, the luxury and the fusion range. I now have two of the fusion masks* to try out.

Timeless Truth have such an exciting range, I loved reading through the booklet to see all the amazing masks they stock. The fusion masks which I'm trying out this time are neither a cream or a gel, they are face shaped and I found this range easier to apply than the luxury mask range. Each mask in this range has a freeze dried product which has already been soaked in serum, when it comes in contact with the face the warmth slowly releases the amazing ingredients on the skin.

My green mask is the Green Tea Phenol Soothing mask, I used this first as I have had sensitive skin since having a mystery reaction to something on my face. It stated it immediately soothes skin and helps problem skin, so sounded perfect. It also had amazing calming ingredients like the Green Tea, Aloe Vera and Chamomile.

This mask used regularly would help to regulate oily secretion, which with me having oily skin sounds perfect. Obviously after one use it wasn't going to miraculously cure me but it definitely felt amazing, and helped my skin for a couple of days afterwards. Ideally these are to be used 3 to 4 times a week.

I love the relaxation of having to sit still for the 15-20 minutes with these masks. After I took it off I massaged my face to get the maximum benefit of the product left over. My skin felt smooth, fresh, nourished and my skin texture and appearance especially around my nose with slight pores had improved. I felt like it helped the application of my makeup for a couple of days after use also.

Next I tried the blue mask which was the Deep Sea Extract Moisturising Mask, which to me smelt fresh like a spa. I loved the green tea mask for the effect it had on my skin afterwards but loved this deep sea one more when it was actually applied, it felt more refreshing and relaxing. It definitely added moisture to my skin, and felt like it was truly working into my skin while restoring, leaving it looking glowing and feeling hydrated. I used mine from in my draw and they felt amazing but for an extra cooling effect they can be stored in the fridge before use, I can only imagine you can get a much more refreshing experience doing this.

It's important to make sure the face is clean before you use these masks, so making sure to cleanse the skin beforehand. Get some YouTube videos on the go like I did or have some relaxing music to really add to the spa at home feeling. The fusion series masks are £4.90 each or you can get a box of five for £23.90 from ttmasks. They also do an amazing looking three in one travel mask pack I was reading all about in my booklet, it contains a make up remover cloth, deep cleansing cloth and hydra-fibre moisture mask. £8.90.

Please make sure you visit ttmasks to check out the whole ranges for yourself, let me know in the comments which you would like to try out. These are also available on BeautyCrowd.com which is a brilliant site full of all your beauty needs.

New Mac Cosmetics Lipsticks

I do love a good lippie, especially my Mac Cosmetics ones. So I was super happy to get two newbies as presents recently! I have become obsessed by a nude lip on myself of late as I find it's looking better than a colour for some reason. I love the look of all the Mac shades like Velvet Teddy, Twig, HoneyLove, Myth and definitely wanting them soon. My newbie and favourite shade to date of Mac Lipsticks is Faux which I'm sharing with you today along with a bright coral shade in Impassioned.

Until now my favourite shade has been Angel from Mac Cosmetics, but Faux is even better. Both really easy wearable shades that I totally love. Faux is Satin formula so is lovely and creamy when applied to the lips, not drying at all.

I think Faux swatches beautiful but definitely appears lighter on the lips, which I love. A great nude lipstick that I will reach for a lot, easy to put with anything and every makeup look. Now for the complete opposite, Impassioned. A gorgeous bright Amplified Mac Cosmetics Lipstick.

Still a fabulous colour, definelty more for the Spring, Summer seasons. I have had this shade before and I do seem to remember it being more coral in colour than this one. Maybe my memory fails me.

Which is your favourite from my newbies? Which is your all time favourite Mac Lipstick? I would love to hear some more recommendations from you.

My Little Gypset Box (Beauty Box)

My little box for August is here, unfortunately it's my least favourite to date. But I will let them off for one month! This months box is called My little Gypset box, I do love how they are different themes each month. They teamed up with Antik Batik to create a Bohemian style shoulder bag, which isn't my style but my daughter has stole off me already to pile her My Little Ponys in. I believe these came in three slightly different colours.

But as usually the first thing I spotted was their cute art prints with the quote 'Be in love with your life, every minute of it', which are always adorable and very frameable. I'm still hoping one month for a rainbow and unicorn print! A girl can hope!

I received some very useful hair tie-bracelets, which are actually rather comfy on the wrist. Other types I have tried that are suppose to do the same have always been rather tight on my wrists and I haven't got the largest of wrists either.

I received three beauty products this month which is fab, firstly I spotted the My Little Beauty item which is their own brand. It's a cutely packaged face bronzing powder, with a very slight sparkle to it. This month they didn't provide prices for most of the items so I can't give you a box total this time.

I do love a bronzer, being totally pale I need colour in my face to look a little alive! It's a super soft formula which is perfect for blending in my contour. The next makeup item was by the brand So Susan which has been in many of my previous beauty boxes. This is the Colour Hybrid lip and cheek mousse in the shade Marsala, which is a deep pinky red tone. It's cute for the lips but personally I can't see how anyone could get away with it on the cheeks, it's extremely pigmented strong in colour. RRP £14.50.

Lastly was the Korres body milk in the scent basil lemon, which isn't a scent I would have picked but it's not overly nasty. The body milk is a lovely smooth texture on the skin and best it's not sticky at all.

So it's still not terrible but certainly not my favourite month since I started my My Little Box subscription, I don't think anything will top the month I received a By Terry fabulous eyeliner. But I do hope they try! What are your thoughts on this months box?

Thanks so much for reading my post, I do hope you enjoyed it. Let me know in the comments your favourite type of blogpost to help me improve my blog, I would really appreciate it. Speak soon, Karen x JinksyBeauty x
