Home Haul

I have been loving all things Home, Decor, Accessories etc and have done a little shopping so wanted to share some of my favourites with you. I have been loving Primark, TKmaxx, Asda, Tesco and more for homeware recently. Where is your favourite to shop for your Home accessories? I will share with you my recent Primark purchases first that I got for my bedroom.

Loving Primark after so many of you suggested I should take a look when I was looking for my new bedrooms bits and pieces. If you follow my Instagram you will have seen my new bedding picture already and seen I have this bedding on the reverse side with larger dark grey stripes which are lovely. We have a King sized bed so this duvet set was £13 which was a really good buy. I love rose gold, copper, bronze so when I spotted these bronzey gold cushions when browsing through Instagram I knew I wanted them. The cushions were £5 each and can also be turned around to a plain cream side. We needed a new laundry basket so brought this cute black and white pop up one would do nice and was only £2.80.

A shop I don't normally go in is Matalan where I got my Love cushion, this was suppose to be £10 but was in the sale and a discount day so was £5.40. Not too bad! I'm now not convinced I love it and saw a better version in TKMaxx I wish I had brought instead. My favourite cushion of all from my mini home haul has got to be the Next rose gold one from their sale. This was £12 down to £6 which is cool! Carrying on with other bits I brought in the Next sale...

I do love Next items and think you can really pick up some bargains in their sales, so I had to pop in on my dinner break at work. The sales are always on a Saturday and I work every Saturday so miss out on the very first bargains, but then again I don't want to fight for my items! I picked up a cute little Black Canvas spelling out 'Beautiful', I had spotted this before the sale but couldn't resist at only £1.50. I'm planning on doing a wall full of quotes and feel good messages so some of these items will be perfect. Another copper piece is the hanging wall sign saying 'choose happy' which was also £1.50 and something I had my eye on before the sale. Lastly I picked up some Stawberries n Cram tea light candles which smell divine and were only £1. I'm obsessed with candles and melts for my home recently, as you will see further down and on my Instagram.

I got a couple of cute Cactus from a garden centre as I used to have these when I was younger and thought they were rather nice. Hopefully I won't kill off these as my Orchids aren't doing over well. I popped in Tesco recently and totally loving all their items, really nice work Tesco. I already have some amazing lanterns for some of my tea lights which I will share on my Instagram for you to see as I didn't take a picture of them for my home haul. Tesco have some amazing candles, reed diffusers, bedding, cushions and after looking on their Instagram I'm loving the look of their notepads as I have a stationary problem also! Definitely need them! I purchased a reed diffuser for my bedroom in the scent Cherry Blossom which is gorgeous, it was only £3 in the sale.

As I'm lovely different scents for my home I purchased some Yankee Candle Melts from Smart Ideas at 75p each. I also purchase Sweet Apple of these which isn't pictured, I have tried this since and literally couldn't smell it at all so hoping all the Yankee candle melts aren't the same. I have since brought rather a lot of the Yankee Votives which you can see on my Instagram so pop over their to check them out, any tips or advice on using them would be greatly appreciated. The Busy Bee Candles Magik Beanz are truly amazing and I think my favourite, I love them. These are £1.75 a pot which you get approx 15 beans in each pot. As they are little separate beans that you can mix and match the fragrances if you wish. You only need approx five beans to get your scent and they smell amazing and powerful. I have so far melted coconut breeze and baby powder which were both incredible scents, defo recommend them.

Having loving the smell of the Yankee Candle Sweet Apple scent but disappointed my melt didn't work I thought I would try the jar candle to see if there was any difference. The Large jar of sweet Apple was on offer in the Yankee Candle shop at £12 so I thought it was worth a go. I got myself a new burner also from the Yankee Candle shop that was £12.99. If you have any recommendations for candles or melts I would love to hear them, not that my obsession needs any help. Please see my Flamingo Candles #TheMeltCrowd box review.

I have followed the lovely company Hampers Boutique for a while now on Facebook but when this little gem popped up on the screen while scrolling though it really caugh my eye. A lovely wooden plaque with the lovely 'Over the Rainbow' song on it, this was £14 for size 8"x8" and she very kindly sent me this gorgeous bracelet* to share with you also. It was all packaged so lovely, they have some amazing items that would make really special gifts. I have since found their Twitter and Instagram and love them.

That's it for this mini home haul. I'm sure their will be more soon after going through the Tesco page!
Thanks for stopping by. Karen x JinksyBeauty x
