My Little Fashion Box

I Always look forward to my My Little Box delivery each month, always a little different. This month was amazing! Super well done My Little Box. This months box is called My Little Fashion Box, it has a cool designed box and even better products inside.

At first glance I was super impressed and excited, Fab brands like La Roche Posay, Kerastase and totally random product - Alcohol! My Little Box definitely didn't disappoint me at all this month.

I already use a few La Roche Posay products which I love, Serozinc spray toner being my favourite. So when I saw a full sized La Roche Posay product I was happy already. I received the Effaclar K (+) which is aimed at Oily skin, perfect! Just for me. This states it's a skin saviour for shiny skin, it's suppose to absorb oil and grease from the first application. I literally can't wait to see if this works, stay tuned on my social media to see how I get on. £14.99 RRP.

Having used Kerastase in the past mainly because I went through a stage of losing my hair, I know it's a fantastic brand. I love that I received a Kerastase styling hairspray and can't wait to try it out, I may keep it for a special occasion! A full size 300ml retails at £16 and my sample is 75ml.

I loved all the beauty items this month and especially loved the cute slogan bag they came in, saying 'Trust me, you are Lovely'. The next makeup item was a My Little Beauty own brand lip cream in the shade is Red Dingue, which is a gorgeous raspberry red. Retails at €22.

How adorable are my Alfa.k nail decals, super cute and easy to apply. Simply cut out your chosen design, press down on your nail for 3-5 seconds, remove the clear film and then apply a top coat. Can't wait to use these. What shade polish do you think would look best underneath? RRP €5.90.

Moving on to more Fashion we received a scarf from American Vintage worth €24. I believe from scanning through the hashtag My Little Box on Instagram that these came in Blue or Black, mine was Blue. I have to admit I would have preferred the black but never mind. I would have loved to see some more Autumn shades in this box but maybe next month.

Still lots more to share with you, so may great items in this months box! I was surprised to see Alcohol in the box, and it's not really for me. The only product I personally won't use, but I'm sure I will find someone in the family that will! It was a mini bottle of Cointreau, with the idea of creating cocktails.

As usual I adored the art print that came in this box, a lovely design and totally frameable. I would love to see some pictures of previous art works from these boxes and how you have used them if you are subscribed to My Little Box. Please tag me in them on social media.

One thing I'm never that excited about from inside the box is the magazine, I don't like how it opens out like a poster. Is it just me?

So a fantastic box, please let me know your thoughts in the comments below. Can't wait to chat to you. Speak soon. Karen x JinksyBeauty x

September Glossybox

My Glossybox The Style Edition box arrived with all five being full sized products this month, super impressive. The design itself is gorgeous, I always love a good box! Glossybox always have one of the best quality reusable boxes, some people have amazing collections if they have been subscribed for a while.

I adore the colour of the wiggly worms this month, I mean the shredded tissue paper! But that always ends up the first thing I put in the bin, it just helps the products from bashing around during postage. The first thing I picked up out of my box as it was rather large and heavy was the Swedish brand Maria Nila luminous colour hair masque. As with all the products this month it is full size and is worth £18.95. WowZa, hope it's good!

Another hair product we received was the Invisibobble! Hmmmm.....I have tried these before and I don't know if I'm using them wrong but they defo aren't invisible for me. I don't get them! I love that they don't course and damage or breakage to the hair but they just don't seem to sit right in my curly fine hair. They are £4.00 a pack and can be found in Boots or this version from Topshop.

I'm obsessed with contouring so the B. Cosmetics contour kit was fab to see in my box, some people received this and others received a Nails Inc Polish I noticed. B. Cosmetics are available from Superdrug and this retails at £10.49. It's a powder contour shade and a cream highlighter. What's your favourite contour kit?

A brand I'm not over sure I have tried anything from before is Bellapierre cosmetics, if I have it hasn't stuck with me so couldn't have been impressed. I received a shimmer power eyeshadow in the shade Whesek, a sparkly silver/grey that they call greige. This retails at £12.99.

And they included a beauty tool to apply it with, the Marsk eyeshadow brush pro. The shape of the brush allows for easy packing of a loose or pressed shadow and retails at £16.70.

So that's the contents of my Glossybox Style Edition for September with a box total value of £63.13. Glossybox costs £10 a month plus p&p and almost always has fab full sized products included. Most other beauty boxes only have sample sizes so this is great! If you want to sign up, please do so through my referral link here!

Spoiler alert: next month all subscribers will receive a Photo-Hydra day cream worth £25 as just one of the fab box contents.

Vitage Skincare Review

After trying the fabulous colour minerals makeup from Vitage I now have the equally as impressive skincare range* to share with you.  Vitage advanced antioxidant skincare range is a high performance range created by skincare professionals, they have over 13 years clinical expertise. Vitage have used this knowledge to create a range packed with superior antioxidants and potent anti ageing ingredients.

While I was doing my research into the colour minerals makeup from Vitage I came across the skincare range and thought it sounded fabulous. I love that they don't smell over powering, they have amazing ingredients and these are suitable for all skin types. I think the packaging shows just how clean cut and all about the ingredients the brand are, nothing too fancy.

The Vitage Revitalising Daily Cleanse is a gentle light foaming cleanser, this retails at £24. I have been using this for a couple of months now and the product is still rather heavy so lots of product left, as it foams up and spreads out you really don't need alot. So the daily cleanse product should last a long while. It helps to remove daily impurities and importantly for me makeup, as I wear alot! It gives a great feeling of cleanliness to my skin and super fresh. It also contains a cocktail of ingredients that help repair and prevent environmental skin damage.

The Vitage Skin Defence SPF 30 was perfect for me, not only was it a great lightweight moisturiser but it's a perfect all year round sun protection. This retails at £22 and can be found on websites like BeautyBay.com. I love that it doesn't have a nasty smell and it helps to protect against UVA and UVB damage aswel as everyday environmental stresses.

My favourite so far from the Vitage skincare and makeup ranges is the Vitamin C Radiance range. I have both the serum and mask which are both highly concentrated with Vitamin C. The serum is a little pricey at £51 but it's so super luxurious on the skin. Partnering with the Vitamin C in the serum is Hyaloronic Acid, both together really help to firm the skin, hydrate and improve the skins texture. It again helps provide an instant defence against ageing and environmental damage, helping to restore skintone and sun damaged skin. I love that it's suitable for all skin types as I so oily, and it helps my skin look illuminated without looking greasy. My skin feels generally softer and tighter when I have used this, and is a perfect pick me up when my skin feels tired or stressed.

If you know me you will know I'm obsessed with masks, so this Radiance Vitamin C mask was top of my favourites with the serum. The mask retail at £26 and is again highly concerntrated with Vitamin C. It helps stimulate collagen production which helps fight the ageing process. So it is an anti ageing mask which isn't for everybody, I wouldn't recommend this if your under 25 ideally but everybody's skin is different. It helps hydrate and brighten like the serum, giving instant radiance after use. I have found it has helped with my bad forehead expression lines which it does state it help diminishes fine lines and wrinkles, so fingers crossed with more use this will continue to help. This mask only needs leaving on for 10-15 minutes, two to three times a week. Personally I do it about two times and find my skin feels tighter and super soft.

Please let me know in the comments section what your favourite skincare range and products are, also if you have any recommendations for anything for me to try on my oily skin please do let me know.
