Autumn Essentials: Candles & Colouring edition

So now Autumn is here we can officially have an excuse to get all comfy and cosy, and what better way to do that than with some candles and fab colouring products. I thought I would share some amazing items and companies that are essential to help you get that Autumn feeling just right.

Aromand Candle is a new company for me to check out and they kindly sent me this perfect Autumn candle to try out. Aromand Candle sell some lovely home essential's including candles, diffusers, room sprays, essential oils and bath salts. The Berries & Black Pepper candle* looks just the part in my living room for the Autumn season with its red wax and cute classic design. This candle is £25 available on aromand.com.

Thatched Candles is my Vanilla Bean candle* from the lovely little Etsy store ThatchedCandles. It comes in the most gorgous glass jar that can be used for many uses after use and best of all it has a woodwick! Woodwicks have become the most perfect Autumn candles to go for, they create the best atmosphere with their slight crackling effect. These are handmade to order and come in a variety of other amazing scents including Ground Coffee, Jam Tart, Lemon Curd and Chocolate Orange. They are £11.99 plus shipping.

Yankee Candle have some of the most amazing Autumn scents out their, with the fireside treats being my absolute favourite of them all. I love the look of the massive jars with the designs, imagery and all. The fireside treats scent for my is a super cosy and relaxing one, nothing I like better than to burn this of an evening and smell the amazing soft, warm scent in the room. Yankeecandle.co.uk

We visited Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet last month while having a few days in Chester and the Yankee Candle store there is amazing. They have so many scents, styles and variations to chose from and have amazing deals. Some of the larger candles were only £11.00 each which I think is incredible. I managed to get a cute Bunny Cake candle which I know is totally out of season but it's looks super adorable and I can put it up to burn in the spring time next year, not a problem!

I also purchased the Cranberry & Pear car freshener that smells incredible, and is currently the flavour of the month. So as I'm going back to Cheshire Oaks next week I think I shall have to pick up a large jar of that also, which I think is a perfect all year round fragrance.

Now my favourite candles and company of all time is Flamingo Candles, which you may know if you have been following me a while. They do the best candles ever! I love the variety, their unique designs and scents that they create. The candles always look super stunning and are the prettiest ever for sitting lovely for your viewing/relaxing pleasure. Not only do they look amazing but they smell incredible also. If melts are more your thing then they do #TheMeltCrowd box which is delivered for only £10 a month including postage and packaging. FlamingoCandles.co.uk

And lastly in candles is a new subscription box* on the block from Tinder Candles. They are a lovely company which make handpoured candles and melts from their home in Hampshire. They have created a box of their soya wax melts which comes beautifully presented for £12 a month including postage and packaging. They have an Etsy store over on TinderCandlesUK which sells gorgeous products including an Owl burner which is on my WishList. To get one of these cute subscription boxes delivered straight to your door or to just get more information - click here.

So now you have created the best atmosphere with your perfect candle or melts, now you can relax with a good old colouring book to take them stresses away!

Johanna Basford has created some of my all time favourite adult colouring books, and her fourth release Magical Jungle* is no exception. Penguin have helped produce this amazing, creative, art inky trail colouring book full of jungle creatures big and small. These books are always made to the highest standards with their amazing thick crisp ivory papers allowing for the most beautiful pieces of work to be created. Johanna is the leading brand in the colouring book genre and her previous titles have already sold over 16 million copies worldwide. WowZa! This amazing colouring book is available in most large supermarkets, Waterstones and Amazon. RRP £12.99.

Now as much as I love sticking to things I know and love, I adore exploring new things. I have recently come across an amazing brand full of new and exciting projects and products! The Spectrum Noir Colorista range* really has blown me (and my daughter) away! It's so new, exciting, bright and has incredible products that are like no other I have tried before. Their premium colouring pads have metallic foil accents, colourable glitter pages and more, which make for the most stunning pictures.

Not only do they do the most stunning premium pads but also gorgeous colouring pencils and markers which all help create beautiful pieces. Everything just screams beauty and it all really is amazing to work with.

Visit www.spectrumnoir.com. On there you can also sign up to a FREE online colouring course where each week you will receive exclusive e-books, video content and free downloads. I have signed up and can't wait to continue my creative journey with Spectrum Noir.

Crowd Colour: Matte Lip Colours

I do love a good lip product, but when they also arrive personalised it sure is a winner! I'm a massive fan and supporter of the lovely people and company that is Crowd Colour who create amazing personalised makeup products designed and developed by you!

Crowd Colour already make amazing personalised magnetic empty palettes that allow you to pick your base, create your own design, have it send straight to your door and then you can fill it with anything you want. Now they have released these incredible Matte lip colours* that go on as a smooth gloss and dry to a velvety matte finish, that you get personalised for your collection. How ace is that?

Each Matte lip colour comes with an amazingly easy to apply applicator as seen in the picture above. They have a lovely range of colours, three nudes and three reds, which wink wink may expand sometime in the near future ;) ... So stay tuned!

I have so far worn all the nudes with the one far left in the above swatches being my absolute favourite, it's an amazing mauve nude that is just perfect. I wore mine for a good chunk of the day with at least four hours complete colour wear before it showed signed of fading, at that point I put a lipbalm on which revived it completely. I found them comfortable on the lips, with the tiniest amount of tightness because of it being a dry matte formula. But these are far better than most liquid type lipsticks that I have tried recently. Good job Crowd Colour!

Fancy creating your own Matte lip colour? Click here to go check them out and have a play around for yourself, check out there amazing make your own palettes while you are there.

Each Matte lip colour is £7.99 each or you can get a bundle deal of all six shades for £35.00.

Birchbox: September edition

Another months Birchbox has arrived for the month of September and it's a fabulous one! At first glance when I opened the little cute subscriber designed draw box I spotted brands like This Works and Nuxe, which are both incredible brands with products I already know and love.

The products I received:

Model Co: The highlighting trio product I received in this month's Birchbox was a duplicate for me, as I have already received this in a previous beauty box. So I won't be opening this and will be keeping it for a future giveaway. It is as it says a trio of three cream highlighting shades. Full size worth £14.00.

Nuxe: The Prodigieux Shower Oil sounds an lovely product as its a shower oil with golden shimmer! Yay! So I imagine this to give a beautiful sheen to the skin, aswel as being nourishing with it being an oil. This is a deluxe sample - 30ml.  Full size £10.00.

This Works: In transit camera close up which is a Mask, Moisturser and primer all in one. I have the same size sample of this that I got in a You Beauty box pick and I'm yet to try it out. I have heard amazing things about this and believe Victoria Beckham herself is a fan. Sample size 20ml. Full size £30.00.

Amika: Bombshell blowout spray which states it's a lightweight styling superstar! It is said to help with volumising, smoothing and texturing which sounds perfect for my thin, flat hair. It also is suppose to help repair damaged hair, also a bonus. This sample is just under 30ml. Full size £14.99.

Nailtiques: Protein formula 2 is a nailcare with benefits like Keratin, protein and calcium, helping soft, peeling, weak and thin nails. I will definitely give this a go as I do suffer with peeling annoying nails and I do love a good nail varnish. Sample size 4ml. Full size £12.50.

As an additional bonus product this month I received an adorable inspirational quote bangle. The card inside the box explains that the exclusive gift as a thank you for sharing the love. So if you have referred a friend or someone has referred you this was included. And it also states this carries on, so if you want to sign up for this month's box make sure you do using my referral code (bottom of post) and you will get one in your box aswel as an additional £5 extra Birchbox eshop points to spend. I do love the eshop!

Another cute addition was that each Birchbox for this month gets an exclusive code for a free Lalabox of photos including 36 prints. What a lovely idea, I can't wait to try this out.

New in Beauty: Maybelline Baby Lips

I've always been obsessed with Maybelline Baby Lips lip balms and have quite the collection already, so when I spotted some newbies for the Autumn season I just had to pick them up. These new scents are Vanilla Cupcake and Chai Tea Latte, I picked mine up from Boots instore and they don't appear to be online at the moment.

The packaging is bright and funky and looks fabulous with the rest of my collection, I currently have them all in a acrylic storage tray in my IKEA Alex drawers but I'm considering having them out on display as they are super pretty.

They have opted for a lighter shade with the Vanilla Cupcake being a slight wash of pink for a healthy natural look to the lips, which is beautiful and the swatch at the bottom of the above picture (it's a little difficult to see on my pale skin). And then the Chai Tea Latte is the top swatch which is the deeper berry tone, but still with a natural sheen as with most of the Baby Lips lip balms.

Have you picked these up yet? Or are you planning to? Let me know in the comments below.
