Luxury Gift Guide

It's 'time' for another gift guide, and this 'time' its all about the Luxury!

Christmas is the most wonderful 'time' of year and everyone loves to receive pretty gifts and what better way to show your love than with an extra special luxury gift.

One of my favourite presents this year was my fabulous Olivia Burton watch that I received for my 30th Birthday. Olivia Burton watches are so unbelievably stunning and a perfect luxury gift.

Mine is the big dial Olivia Burton watch (38mm diameter) and is called the After Dark Floral black and rose gold (£80).

The big matte black metal face is so eye catching with the beautiful floral print, rose gold detailing and soft leather strap.

All Olivia Burton watches are simply superb quality and I would love another one in the future.

Jo Malone is an incredible brand that really do the most perfect and amazing gifts.

I have the Sweet Almond and Macaroon Home Candle (£42) which smells divine and one of my favourites. Jo Malone do the most amazing range of home fragrances so their really is something for everybody.

The Sweet Almond and Macaroon is described as ...
'A comforting confection of sweet almond and creamy coconut. Rich with cherries. Softened by vanilla. Warm and cocooning.'

You can add personalised engraving on the Jo Malone Website for an extra £15.

Luxury skincare is a beautiful gift and what better way than with some Skin Chemists goodies*.

Skin Chemists are a 'British skincare brand working with lead pharmacists, chemists, scientists and beauticians worldwide to develop revolutionary and effective skincare treatments.'

Skin Chemists do a wide variety of different ranges but Bee Venom for me is amazing.

The Bee Venom facial oil (£89) and Bee Venom duo moisturiser (£119) are the perfect combination and work to plump and stimulate natural collagen production while helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

But if skincare isn't their thing and you think they would love some makeup bits for christmas then the new Lancome cushion products* are a perfect addition to any beauty lovers collection ...

Lancome do the amazing Teint Idole ultra full coverage cushion foundation (£30), which comes in a beautiful refillable compact.

It's gives a high coverage, flawless and luminous look, while leaving the skin to feel super soft.

The Lancome cushion technology products are all cushion based products as the name would suggest and come with a puff applicator for quick application and portable use.

The Lancome cushion blush subtil (£28) line comes in six shades, I have the pretty 02 Rose Lemonade and 031 Splash Orange.

The cushion blush subtil are a liquid blush in the cushion product formation and create a vibrant fresh look that instantly tints and brightens any look. Such gorgeous product's that I highly recommend anyone checks out.

Any beauty lover will need the perfect makeup/beauty storage for their collection, and what better way than the stunning Red Bow Beauty Box ...

The Red Bow Beauty Box* (£95) is the ultimate luxury makeup storage organisation.

Alison the owner of Red Bow Beauty Box designed these amazing quality and sized pieces after purchasing an organiser online for her daughter and being disappointed with the product she received.

These are made of crystal clear acrylic and have the most stunning crystal handles and amazingly deep drawers, with a top tier and removable dividers.

The top tier itself is also removable making it easy to clean and has great flexibility of storage.

It's a rather large beautiful piece that stores a great deal of products.

30.5 cm Wide
25.5 cm Deep
34.5 cm Height

These are available on redbowbeautybox.co.uk.

My Beauty Advent Calendars so far ....

Advent Calendar's are a must have for all member's of our family each year in December, the kids love them and the adults love them just as much also!

We all have chocolate Advent Calendar's but we love adding alternative ones to our collection.
The kids both have a Lego Advent calendar each with Amber (7) having the more girlie Lego Friends, and Leo (10) has Lego Star Wars.

I have always loved the look of Beauty Advent Calendars and only ever had the Ciate nail polish Advent Calendar that I brought last year from TKMaxx.

Until now ....

I now have two!

So as you may have spotted from the first lot of pictures I brought myself the Marks & Spencer Fabulous Beauty Advent Calendar this year. After doing lots of research on which were the best buys the M&S one seemed to come on top.

It cost me £35 for the calendar itself, but I did need to spend £35 or more in M&S on Home, Beauty or Clothes first to be eligible for this deal.

The products inside are said to be worth £250 with some amazing brands like Nails Inc, Rodial, Burts Bees, Pixi Beauty, Neals Yard Remedies and more. They are all amazing deluxe samples or full sized products and I'm so excited to have this one for myself.

My second one is a massive bargain and the best deal I have seen on a Beauty Calendar yet this year.

I love Wilko's and was have a little christmas shopping browse around when I spotted the Essence Cosmetics Advent Calendar, I let out a little 'ooooh!', especially as it was only £5.00! ... I mean £5.00, what a fabulous find hey? And the calendar itself is a really good size, quite large infact.

If you don't want to know what inside the Essence cosmetics Calendar then stop reading now!!!

Ok so im not that good ... I only opened the first door to take a picture to show you the insides! I need to leave the rest to be a surprise for me as I have seen the full contents of the M&S calendar, but the back of this calendar tells me I will be discovering ...

15 Mini Essence Nail Polishes
5 Mini Essence Top Coats
2 Mini Essence Nail Files
Metallic Nail Stickers
Mini Cosmetics Bag

How AmaZing is that?

I would love some more Advent Calendars and if pennies had not been an issue I would have loved the Liberty London, Jo Malone and Diptyque Candle ones! Which Calendars are on your wishlist and which ones do you have in your collection so far? Let me know in the comments below.

Thanks for stopping by. Karen x JinksyBeauty x

Morphe X Kathleen Lights

Im rather obsessed with my Morphe Brushes palettes and absolutely adore Kathleen Lights on Youtube, so when I first heard about this amazing collab I knew I had to have it. But I was a little worried when I heard it was exclusive to the Morphe website in the USA! (UK problems!)

But with a little research I discovered that they did ship to the UK, panic over slightly! Until I discovered that to ship it here would cost me £18 alone, slightly stung when the palette only cost approx £12 (USA-14.99).

But as you can see I do now own the palette (£30 later) as my husband actually persuaded me to make this purchase, and I'm so glad he did.

The palette sold out in no time at all, as I predicted it would do, but Morphe have announced that even thought it was a limited edition palette they will be restocking one more time as the demand was so high.

I adore every single shade in this palette and the pigmentation like with my other Morphe palettes is incredible. I love the layout and design of this palette, and think Kathleen did a great job.

This does differ from the ordinary Morphe packaging as its a cardboard magnetic design, but I still love it and I'm super happy to have it in my collection.

The palette contains a great mix of mattes, shimmers and metallics and Kathleen actually created six of the shades in the palette herself, which I think is fabulous.

So what do you think? ... Isn't it amazing? ... Well I think so.

The shades are perfect for Autumn/Winter and this palette and the shades can create so many different day and night looks.

If you want this palette then stay tuned to Morphe's social media accounts as they are trying to restock as soon as possible. I definitely recommend you pick this palette up, it's one not to be missed!
