Spring fun - Colouring with Fashion

When I think of Spring, I think of beautiful flowers and warm sunshine. But as I live in the UK, the sunshine and bright weather is not exactly here right now!

With all the rain and dull weather we have been having, it's unfortunately making me a little down and sad, so I've been needing something to help ...

I was recently sent 'The Whimsical Fashion Colouring Book'* by Natasha Itzcovitz, it's an incredible quirky colouring book filled with 100 hand drawn fashion illustrations ...

Colouring for me is a way of escape. Colouring and having some quiet time helps me clear my head and calm down when I'm feeling anxious.

Natasha and The Whimsical Fashion Colouring Book has made the most beautiful illustrations that are perfect for anyone, at any age. As soon as this book came through the door my daughter (Amber, 8) had her eye on it, we absolutely love doing colouring together. In fact as I'm typing up this post, she is currently colouring in it, as I had told her she needed to wait for Mommy to use it first (for my post).

Here are just some of the illustrations I have coloured and created so far ...

What I love about colouring is there is no right or wrong, you can create whatever vision you have for each illustration. The Whimsical Fashion Colouring Book has wonderful designs, unique where some of the fashionistas are sitting on a burger, cupcake, pizza and more.

I've been loving creating all my pieces so far, and I'm excited to see what my daughter comes up with. We have planned to write our names on each piece once we have finished, so we know who created each. What I love about each drawing is that it doesn't take hours and hours to complete, sometimes as much as I love a colouring book, I can get annoyed if I can't see the end with a picture.

I highly recommend The Whimsical Fashion Colouring Book.

Thanks for stopping by.

I haven't got into the whole adult colouring book as yet - I think it's because I paint when I like to be creative but it is a fab idea! x

I love colouring but always forget to do it! This looks like a really cute book. I recently picked up the Harry Potter one.
