BirchboxXBoden

Third up in my blogpost subscription box series of the day is Birchbox.

Birchbox has been one of my favourite subscription boxes over the years, and along with Glossybox I have been a loyal subscriber since 2014. Saying that Birchbox made a huge annoncement recently that could well change my thoughts! I have always enjoyed Birchbox for the points system that it has, which allows me to purchase higher end products that I normally wouldn't normally be able to afford (having kids is expensive!). But Birchbox have unfortunately decided they are stopping this points system, which leaves me questioning if I may quit on them!!!

Here is the contents of my box this month ...

At first glance the thing I was most excited about was that Birchbox had included some of the new Nip & Fab makeup range. Now I do actually already own this product, so this has made it's way to my fabulous blogger friend Charlene. An amazing full sized product to include. RRP £8.95.

Now another 'full size' item is the Manna Kadar Cosmetics high definition powder. They say this is full size but to me this isn't a good enough size or packaging quality for a '£27.00' product. I have a feeling this was a slight typo to be honest.

What cute packaging does this Baija Paris creme moana body cream have?
This is full of amazing nourishing ingredients like coconut oil, jojoba wax and a protective beeswax. Perfect. This is a 30ml sample, full size RRP £15.90.

I also received a double action moisturing exfoliator by the company Polaar. Again this is another smaller sample as are most Birchbox products. RRP full size £23.50.

And lastly in my Birchbox x Boden box this month was the Oribe dry texturizing spray in mini form. I have actually purchased a full size of this which was nearly £40 if I remember correctly, and I just didn't get the hype. It didn't do anything for my hair but is suppose to be a volumizing dry shampoo.

What do you think about this months Birchbox contents?
I'm not sure if I'm over these beauty boxes now, as I'm getting less and less impressed with some of them. I always felt with Birchbox that it stood out from the crowd giving us the points to spend on full sized items we liked, but with that stopping I'm starting to question it.

I had always loved sharing this boxes on JinksyBeauty but maybe it's time to start looking for some newbies to share. If you have any suggestions for any new subscription boxes then please leave them in the comments.

The packaging is beautiful. I wish Oribe products weren't so expensive. I have a sample of their dry shampoo and it's the best I've ever tried but I can't justify the price tag.
